professional speaker, and occasional workshop leader with more than a two decades experience speaking in the legal, corporate, and non-profit arenas.

Jonathan is committed to advancing communications and understanding. Helping people of many nationalities and diverse backgrounds, Jonathan is a specialist on the processes of negotiation and decision-making across cultural borders.

Having worked and lived in the culturally diverse South Florida community for over thirty years, Jonathan has developed a keen sense for cross-cultural communication.  He is committed to fulfilling the need for communication, education, and insight in a rapidly diversifying and interdependent society.

Jonathan earned his law degree from the University of Miami, an MBA in Finance from Emory University, and a BA from New College.  He began to practice law in 1981 and then worked for several Fortune 500 companies, until he went on his own as a mediator and litigator in 1990.   He has been a member in good standing of the Florida and Federal Bars for over 25 years and is top "AV" peer rated by lawyers for "professionalism"  and legal "expertise."  

Jonathan has been approved by the Florida Bar to deliver Continuing Legal Education workshops on ethics.  He is also a regular judge for the University of Miami's Ethics debates. 

His career as a South Florida attorney and mediator has exposed Jonathan to people of many nationalities and diverse backgrounds, and has contributed to his

familiarity with the processes of negotiation and decision-making across cultural borders.

Jonathan has presented in English and Spanish to audiences both in the United States and abroad on topics ranging from intercultural and cross-cultural
